Hi,

forum's not gonna take care of itself, people! :)

each forum should probably have at least one moderator (especially if you have existing leadership-stake in the Forum's subject, e.g. current Record editor is moderator for the Record Forum, and Chapter Chairpersons should be moderators of their Chapters' Forums), and we should have a few moderators who are willing to cover several forums for general maintenance:

*  deleting exact-duplicate posts
*  moving posts or topics when appropriate
*  combining split topics that were caused by the automatic mailbridge
*  removing email addresses, especially from public forums (exchange with link to forum ID -- person can be privately emailed there without their email address being exposed to the internets and plethora of spambots and other dangerous creatures)

Please contact me know if you are interested in acting as a moderator for one or more forums.

And don't worry, prior experience is not a requisite -- the post of Moderator comes with instructions and technical assistance as needed.
