Are my posts being deleted?  If so, by whom and why?

How do you do quotes if you want to intersperse responses to pieces of an email?  I can't seem to get it to work and the quotes are looking like part of my message.  Thanks for any help with this.

Hi Joel,
your posts shouldn't be deleted by anyone.  If the nature of a post is unacceptably inflammatory, threatens others' individuals or personal details, or is otherwise inappropriate, the author would be notified of the violation.   Are your posts posting normally in the forum, and then later you can't find them anymore?  Has this happened more than once?  Have you tried the "Search" tool to locate them?  Please make note of which forums you posted in/the link to the post, when you post it, so you can report it.. I don't know of anyone's posts being deleted. You are right, they should not be.

You wrap [ quote ] before and [ /quote ] (with no spaces) around whatever you're quoting.  That link will show it better
