I find the new format not much different that the older one.  I am on several web list servers and each one has it's own issues.  I think the reason the list is a bit more quiet is the better job being done by Nancy and the AB to let folks know what is going on.  It is becoming more and more apparent that Tony is afraid of what can happen with a robust Antioch College.  It is also clear that the golden rule is coming into play.  We need the folks who are capable of 7 figure donations to stay the course, insist on the changes that need to be made, but at the end of the day, keep the money flow on schedule to keep the college open.
How the administration could have alienated so many of these people over just a few years is a testament to the limitations that some folks have for things which they don't understand or appreciate.
I think the number one job for whoever is found to become the new president of the college will be to build the bridges with the folks who can make major donations as well as the rest of us both alumni, villagers and friends, who can do a small but significant part to building the school back to a healthy place for young adults to learn, experience and grow into the kinds of adults that have made Antioch a special place in the world of post secondary education.  BTW glad to see the karma crap is gone.  Why not a few hundred more emoticons?

I'll echo Erik's comment from a while back saying that I too believe that the "Agreement in Principle" and discovering its many shortcomings had a lot to do with the drop in Forum activity.  What more could we have to say now that all our power had been effectively brokered away?  It's good to know that the major donors have stepped up to the plate to make the demands that should have been made during the BOT/AB negotiations.  Still, it feels like a big session of "hurry up and wait" for now until we hear the final outcome of these donor/BOT discussions.

Or am I missing something?

Sure and it's grand, but readability would be improved if the line was shortened to 65 to 70 characters...and no more than that (whatever the font). Basis for this statement; Many studies by book and type designers.
